Construction kicked off this week, and we’re on track to wrap up by June 30, 2024. Our teams are working diligently to ensure a smooth process and minimal disruption to the community. What to Expect as Construction Begins 

YOU WILL SEE CONSTRUCTION CREWS IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD INSTALLING FASTWYRE’S BROADBAND NETWORK. We know what you’re thinking…we might need to move a little dirt for progress, but we promise it’ll be worth it!

Here’s what to expect during the installation:

• Surveying – Surveying crews will be marking existing utility services such as gas, water, sewer, electric, and communication facilities. After surveying is complete, construction crews will be marking the installation path for Fastwyre’s new broadband network.
• Installation – As a part of the installation process, our contractors use different types of construction equipment including boring machines. These machines will be placed on plywood to alleviate disruption to your property and nearby sidewalks.
• Pedestals – Pedestals are special boxes that are required to house and protect the newly installed fiber and will provide high speed broadband and other services to a group of homes. These pedestals will be placed strategically throughout your neighborhood.
